Leftovers
Last week I was scrapbooking and decided that after I make a page, I will use some of the leftovers to make some cards...this is one of those cards. (I have a huge pile of scraps that I will "someday" use - do you have one too?) I love how it turned out and that I was able to use three of the images from my new stamp set, Boho Backgrounds. I also am finally using my SU cider paper and not hoarding it anymore! I will add a sentiment when the time comes to use the card. I used all SU product except that chocolate gingham which I WISH they would start carrying! That is also a leftover scrap. Have a great day!

old jeans?
Yesterday was a good productive craft day - I can't say I did much else, but a lot was crossed off my to do list. One of the things on that list was this little bag for a little friend who it turning two. Her mom asked me to make one after seeing the one I made for my daughter. It was lots of fun and I just love the big flowers on the back pockets...but then again, I'm all about big flowers! I really hope she likes it! Have a great day!

scrapbooking
Last week was full of a gazillion batches of caramel corn for Valentine's Day and 6 dozen cupcakes for a church fireside, (no pictures of those, althought they looked great and tasted even better I must admit!) so I thought I'd do a little scrapbooking this week. This page sat on my desk with just the pictures and "samantha" for a while. This morning, I was able to finish it up and it went from being one of my least favorite to one of my favorite pages. I stamped on the ribbon (the first time) and love how it turned out. I used Olivia from Lizzie Anne
Designs. In the picture the little piece of paper with the primas and pink brads really stands out, but irl, it doesn't. It matches the dots in the paper. I rarely use a whole piece of patterned paper on a layout. I think that is what bugged me about this layout for so long, but i'm at peace with it now :) Have a great day!

I love little socks!
This is a gift I made for a friend who is having a baby soon. I just love these little socks! I love baby socks - they are so cute and tiny and precious! I also like to include a headband with a matching bow - my sis-in-law taught me how to make the headband and I came up with the bow. They are so fun, Little Bit had one in just about every color for a while. The bows are interchangable, with flowers, just ribbon tied in a bow, etc.... So fun! Have a happy day!

a sunday morning find....
me: (fixing Little Dude's hair for church) go find your sister so I can do her hair too.
she leaves, doesn't return.
me to hubby: where's Little Bit?
him: I don't know
me: not good - it's too quiet...the door to the bathroom is closed...she's hiding in the bathroom...with nailpolish!!! "i paint my toes mama, that be fun?" (in her cute sweet little voice!) and the bath tub and her dress, and the rug...oh dear. I grabbed the camera, only to hear "don't do that...it will only encourage her, smile while I take your picture but you're in trouble!" He just doesn't understand the neccesity of having this picture! My thoughts were, don't get mad, get the camera, someday this will be funny. Anyone know how to get nailpoish out of the dress...she hasn't even worn it yet...
