Birthday Ballerina

My daughter loves the little people images from LAD, As I stamp one, she asks me who it is. I let her decide and she names them all - it so cute! This one, she decided is herself, she loves sparkly (the darker pink is covered with sparkles) and pink - so it must be! I really love that my girls enjoy stamping with me. They always have lots of comments to make too - "doesn't look too pretty mom - maybe you should use a different color or paper" or "mom, i love it - is it for me?" They have their own supplies and the eldest is getting a lot better. She used to just mix all the colors and make a mess, but as long as she was having fun, I didn't care. Have a great day and stay tuned for the Lizzie Anne Birthday celebration starting tomorrow! If you haven't yet, sign up for their newletter.

Hello

Isn't he cute? I love LAD's little cowboy! He is so fun to color and I just had to put the paisley on the red from Jolies Fleurs - every cowboy needs a little paisley! This layout is from LAD's Monday sketch challenge. I used the second sketch, I'm hoping to get to the first one today. Have a great day!

Halloween already?

yep - Halloween already. Lizzie asked me to make some samples for her using "Spooked" set. The skull is a little out of my "style" but I loved playing with it and want to play more. I'm sure you'll see more of this set from me! It is such a fun, versatile set - so many images, so many possibilites!

A long Road Trip

We have a long road trip coming up this summer. I made these for the back of the seats in attempt to keep the car somewhat organized on our trip. I hope it works! I didn't use a pattern just went from a thought in my head. The top pocket is divided into three sections - maybe we'll be able to keep track of those sunglasses! The big pocket on the bottom is for coloring books with two smaller pockets for crayons. The button and ribbon helps to keep it from falling out. It ties to the top of the headrest as well as around the bottom of the seat. The tie is on the side so the driver doesn't have a knot in the middle of their back. I'd love to hear what you think of these...

Dreaming of Dots again

I'm just loving this set, there are so many different things you can do with it. I made this giant flower with the petals and added a polka dot to each petal. I also rolled the tip of each petal up so it stiks up off the card.

100

This is the 100th post on my blog - how exciting for me. When I started this blog, I wasn't sure how much or often or even if I would continue to do it, but it's been fun and I enjoy it.
Today I'm sharing some samples I made using LAD A Man's Sole. I wanted it since it was released, but kept putting it off. I have a hard time purchasing "one use" stamps. How many times can I use this set and how can I made it different is a qualifing factor in purchasing stamps for me. I think I only have one "holiday" set - usually I get an all season for Christmas cards or I borrow a set. I think that line of thinking is going to have to change. I made these samples this week and and am so pleased that I have this set. All of the cards were made with someone in mind and that makes creating them so much fun!

Dreaming of Dots

Two more cards from the gift set.. I really love these colors together. SU Wild Wasabi and Blue Bayou, I'll be sad to see them retired this summer. Both of these layouts are cased from Meridith's blog - thanks Meridith! Love your style! The second one is from Lizzie Anne's sketch challenge on May 27th. I'm really trying to participate more often in challenges - it helps ya grow ya know! Have a great week!
