another paint chip

so a couple years ago (let's be honest - i still do it!) I was a on a kick to see what i could use for embellishments that didn't cost anything. paint chips are one of those things - they come in just about any color imaginable - they are so easy to use! my brown backing to my flower is a paint chip cyt with a nestabilities die- some stores have larger paint chips that others :) I used LAD Everyday Sayings for the sentiment. I love this set because of all the different fonts - so fun! what do you like the re-use as embellishmenst?

School is out!

School is finally out! Yipee! I'm hoping to have more time to craft and less places to be, but we'll see how that goes! This notebook was make with LAD's school days set. Paper is from the Becky Higgins school kit which i picked up at CK last fall. So fun!

not so crafty

but super yummy! I used this recipe, sort of, i modified it to make it easier. :) and I added more peanut butter cups to the outside. a lot more. i mixed chocoalted frosting and peanut butter instead of making ganache. it was just as yummy. hmm, i could go for a peice now. can you guess which peices were taken first?

I just love this new additional the line of Little People from LAD. Her hair is just too cute!

Father's Day

Father's day is approaching...what are you doing for Father's day? I have no ideas. I love my dad and want to do something special for him. I wish that he lived closer and I could spend more time with him, this card is perfect for him. I wish that I could just show up at his door for Father's Day. I will always look up to my dad, he's a pretty cool guy.

Super Girl Saying

this saying is from the super girl saying from LAD, i just left off the "hey supergirl" part - the plane is from Things that go - also from LAD. So fun - I tried to get outside my comfort zone with my layout - I think I like it..I'm tryingto like it....I love the plane and banner and buttons and colors, just not sure on the rest of the "stuff'! Have a fabulous day!

Aloha Baby!

I made this for a baby shower invitation for a friend whose theme for her baby boy's room is going to be surfing. The inside said something to the effect of "come hang ten with us and celebrate the arrival of her little surfer. I used the surf board and Aloha from LAD Garden Isle Set and the baby is from SU outline alphabet. One of my all time favorite alphabets! Very simple and clean lines! She loved it!
